Mankato East defeats Worthington, repeats as Section 2AAA champions

ST. PETER, Minn. (KEYC) - The top-seeded Mankato East boys’ basketball team defeated Worthington 64-50 to capture back-to-back Section 2AAA championships at Gus Young Court on Friday.
The Cougars await their first-round fate for the Class AAA tournament, beginning March 21 inside Williams Arena.
